I can't believe that it's April 2 - where has 2019 gone?! When I was a kid, I remember writing the wrong year on my assignments for months after coming back to school from Christmas break. Now, as an adult, I feel like the transition into the new year is so quick that I don't even notice it happening, and before I know it, we are 1/4 of the way done with the new year!
March was a busy month, but I was still able to get in some quality reading time. A few long car trips meant I could enjoy an audiobook (The Care and Feeding of Ravenously Hungry Girls), or force my husband to drive and devour an entire book in one car ride (Hi, Daisy Jones and the Six). I enjoyed some new perspectives (An American Marriage), learned about new cultures (Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows), and explored new and futuristic worlds (Golden State). I read one ARC, which will be published on May 1, 2019 (The Goodbye Summer), and enjoyed a book by one of my favorite authors (The Nightingale). I can't wait to see what April has in store!
